Description
The Moonshiners will entertain any crowd with their highly entertaining mix of stage banter and songs about life in the Northern Rivers.
The Moonshiners are a 4 piece folk punk band from Yamba NSW consisting of Ryan on Vox and guitar, Dane on bass, Lauren on violin and Sam on drums. We play an uptempo mix of both original and cover songs by bands such as the Pogues, Paul Kelly, NoFX, Sublime. Basically if performing a cover we will try and add a folk punk flare to it, often dropping in well known riffs to the middle of a song which shouldn’t really belong, buts get the crowd worked up nonetheless. Think the Devil went down to Georgia with Black Sabbath and Metallica riffs thrown in for good measure.
