Spending time with Dinkum Bohos, you may find yourself magically transported to a Parisian Café, a smoky Jazz Club, a Flamenco Fiesta, a Poet’s Wine Bar, a funky Dance Floor, a Sound Meditation Temple, a Tango Milonga, a Greek Taverna, a swampy Blues Shack, an acoustic Folk Club...quite possibly all at the same gig!
Eclectic duet Vasudha Harte and Jem Edwards take audiences on a kaleidosonic journey, skillfully merging improvisation with well-crafted songs. From sweet and mellow to upbeat and wild, they genre hop, instrument swap and create an intimate, interesting atmosphere.
Vasudha romances audiences with her free-spirited vocals. A singer songwriter for our times, her songs artfully spin the personal into the universal, depicting life in the rainbow region she has called home for over 20 years. Drawing on a rich palette Vasudha writes luscious, enchanting love songs, witty political raps, cheeky cabaret numbers, heartfelt ballads and more. Joined by the extensive talents of Jem Edwards, with adventurous piano four handers a highlight, they present a unique musical tour de force
