Blues on the Mountain - bringing the best blues, soul and rock n roll to our hall amongst the gumtrees, Mangrove Mountain Hall. A not for profit event.
Blues on the Mountain started in May 2013, combining my love of music and desire to raise funds for the restoration of my home town's heritage hall. The events are run entirely by volunteers with all profits (after band payments, equipment hire etc) going towards the upkeep and restoration of Mangrove Mountain Heritage Hall and Fairview Homestead (local early settler building in need of full restoration). So far we have raised over $5,000 for the hall and Fairview, and have had the pleasure of having artists such as PJ O'Brien band, Blue Eyes Cry (Melbourne), Grizzlee Train, Laura and the Blackjacks and many more perform at our events.
